Description
The 'PE' mnemonic disables the protect mode enabled with the 'PS' mnemonic. While the user is in protect mode, the cursor may not move onto a character with the low intensity attribute ('SB'). Some editing operations may be disabled and screen-read mnemonics may not transmit characters displayed in low intensity. The 'CF' (clear foreground) mnemonic uses this mode and resets following the clear operation.
