blsstatus Utility

Syntax

blsstatus [--bls-home <bls-home>] [--config-dir <config-dir>] [-d] [-h] [--host <host>] [-m <metrics-port>] [-t <timeout>] [--user-config <user-config>] [-V] [-v]

Description

In BBj 22.00 and higher, the blsstatus utility provides status information for the BASIS License Service (BLS), including whether it is running.

It is located in <bbj home>/bls/bin/ if the BLS was installed with BBj/BBx, or in <bls home>/bin/ if the BLS was installed as a standalone product.

Parameters

Parameter Description
--bls-home <bls-home> BLS home directory

--config-dir <config-dir>

License server configuration directory (if files are not specified)

-d,--dump

Dump license server metrics

-h,--help

Command help

--host <host>

License server host

-m,--metrics-port <metrics-port>

License server metrics port

-t,--timeout <arg>

Status check timeout duration, 0 (the default) will just try once and exit

--user-config <user-config>

License server user configuration

-V,--version

Command version

-v,--verbose

Set verbose
