EM: App Deployment > Desktop App JREs
Overview
In BBj 19.20 and higher,
Desktop App JREs can be assigned to Desktop Apps by clicking the
at the top right of the section to open the Select JRE Package(s) dialog. Choose a complete JRE installer package (.zip, .tar.gz, or .tgz) based on the target platform macOS, Linux,
or Windows. After adding the JRE, place a check next to it to designate it as the default for that platform. To delete/remove a JRE,
click the
button in the top right of the section.

Desktop App JREs Properties

| Client JRE URL |
Displays the URL location of a complete Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installer used for desktop app deployments; the client downloads and installs the JRE from this URL. |
| Platform |
Displays the target operating system (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) for which the specified Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is intended. |
| Version |
Displays the version number of the specified Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to ensure compatibility with the desktop application. |
