_cpfx.pub Utility - Change PREFIX

Syntax

call "_cpfx.pub"

Description

The _cpfx.pub utility provides a window for editing the current PREFIX. It does not modify the prefix in the config.BBx file.

When called, _cpfx.pub displays a vertical list of the entries in the current system PREFIX. The top entry in the list is the first entry in the system PREFIX. The editing options listed below will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Option

Description

Add

Adds an entry to the current PREFIX after the entry where the cursor is positioned.

Clear

Removes all entries from the current PREFIX being edited. The Clear option does not affect the system PREFIX, unless the Set option is used before exiting the _cpfx.pub utility.

Delete

Deletes the current PREFIX entry where the cursor is positioned. There is no prompt for confirmation before the deletion.

Insert

Adds an entry to the current PREFIX before the entry where the cursor is positioned.

Set

Changes the system PREFIX to the list of entries currently displayed. This is the only option that modifies the system PREFIX. There is no prompt for confirmation before setting the system PREFIX to the new list of entries.

Exit

Terminates the _cpfx.pub utility and returns to the PRO/5 prompt. Changes to the current PREFIX are lost, unless the Set option is selected before exiting.
