After installing BBjServices, follow a few initial setup procedures using the Enterprise Manager, before the system is ready to use.
When initially installing BBjServices, the BASIS DBMS has two users
that are setup by default: "admin",
and "guest". The "admin"
user is the administrative user that has complete permission to administer
all functionality in the BASIS DBMS and BBj App Server using the BBj Enterprise
Manager. Initially, the password for this user is set to "admin123".
It is very important (if concerned with security) to change the admin
password immediately after installing the product. Use the "Set Passwords"
option under User Administration as shown in the Enterprise
Manager - User Administration documentation.
