Sizing Controls

Sizing Controls - Width

To change the width of a control, do the following:

1. On the Controls toolbar, click the Pointer Button.

2. Move the mouse over the vertical boundary of the control until the mouse pointer changes to a horizontal, two-headed arrow.

3. Click and drag the boundary left or right to the desired size.

A layout grid can be displayed within a form or child window to make it easier to size controls.

Sizing Controls - Height

To change the height of a control, do the following:

1. On the Controls toolbar, click the Pointer button.

2. Move the mouse over the lower boundary of the control until the mouse pointer changes to a vertical, two-headed arrow.

3. Click and drag the boundary up or down to the desired size.

Sizing Controls - Multiple

To adjust two or more controls to the same size, do the following:

1. On the Controls toolbar, click the Pointer button.

2. Select one control to serve as the prototype, and size it to the desired height and width.

3. Press and hold down Ctrl, then click each control to be sized, selecting the prototype control last.

4. Size the controls by doing one of the following:

   • On the Layout menu, select Set Same Size.

   • On the Align toolbar, click the Same Size Button.
