Aligning Controls

A layout grid can be displayed within a form or child window to make it easier to align controls.

To align two or more controls along the boundary of the last control selected, do the following:

1. Press and hold down Ctrl, then click each control to be aligned.

2. On the Align toolbar, select the desired alignment option, as follows:

   • Click LeftAlign to align the controls along the left boundary of the last selected control.

   • Click Right Align to align the controls along the right boundary of the last selected control.

   • Click Top Align to align the controls along the upper boundary of the last selected control.

   • Click Bottom Align to align the controls along the lower boundary of the last selected control.

   • Click Center Vertical to align the control centered vertically in relation to the center of the last control selected.

   • Click Center Horizontal to align the control centered horizontally in relation to the center of the last control selected.
