GUIBuilder: Toolbar (Superseded)

GUIBuilder has been superseded by the AppBuilder module in the BASIS IDE for BBj. Includes support for both the READRECORD Event Queue and PROCESS_EVENTS/CALLBACK paradigm. Integrates tightly with FormBuilder, the BBj replacement for ResBuilder.

Description

The toolbar provides shortcuts for performing commonly-used commands. The following table describes each button.

Button	Description
New	Creates a new GUIBuilder .gbf file. Equivalent to New on the File menu.
Open	Opens an existing GUIBuilder .gbf file. Equivalent to Open on the File menu.
Save	Saves the current .gbf file. Equivalent to Save on the File menu.
Print	Prints the current .gbf file. Equivalent to Print on the File menu.
Select Form	Invokes the visual selection method for a specified form. See Defining Event Handler Code Blocks. Equivalent to Select Form on the Program menu.
Edit Subroutine	Displays a dialog for editing an existing or creating a new subroutine.
Delete Current Code Block	Deletes the current code block. Equivalent to Delete Code on the Program menu.
Check for Errors	Checks the syntax of the current code block. Equivalent to Check for Errors on the Program menu.
Invoke External Editor	Invokes the external editor specified in the gb.ini file.
Show All Events	Toggles between: Enabled - Shows all possible events. Disabled - Displays only the events that will be visible in the generated program (events that are able to pass through the event mask). Equivalent to Show All Events on the Program menu.
Build Program	Generates the program. Equivalent to Build Program on the Program menu.
Run Program	Runs the generated program. Equivalent to Run Program on the Program menu.
Run ResBuilder	Invokes ResBuilder. Equivalent to ResBuilder on the Tools menu.
Run DDBuilder	Invokes DDBuilder. Equivalent to DDBuilder on the Tools menu.
Run Visual PRO/5	Invokes a Visual PRO/5 console window. Equivalent to Visual PRO/5 on the Tools menu.
Toggle Window	Toggles between the View and Edit windows.
About	Displays GUIBuilder version and copyright information. Equivalent to About GUIBuilder on the Help menu.
