Introduction

The Extended Utility Set (EUS) is a toolbox of utility programs intended to enhance PRO/5 programs, provide a standard look-and-feel to PRO/5 applications, and improve programmer productivity. The EUS utilities should be considered as components of applications, rather than as utilities used only by developers while writing programs.

There are similarities between the EUS Toolkit and the Development Tools in the Standard Utilities. The EUS Toolkit enhances these tools considerably and adds several powerful features, such as a Data Dictionary, Menu System, configurable keyboard, more extensive input handling, and faster online help.

Note that none of the material that concerns Windows and the Input Subsystem applies to the SYSGUI device in Visual PRO/5.
