BBjspWebRequest::getRemoteAddr (Deprecated)

The BBJSP system is deprecated. For new development, use BBxServlet.

Description

In BBj 16.0 and higher, this method returns the Internet protocol (IP) address of the client or last proxy that sent the BBjspWebRequest.

Syntax

String	getRemoteAddr()

Parameters

None.

Return Value

a String containing the clients IP address

Remarks

The example below shows getting the local IP address of a request within a BBJSP Servlet.
