BBjspWebRequest::getHeader (Deprecated)

The BBJSP system is deprecated. For new development, use BBxServlet.

Description

In BBj 16.0 and higher, this method returns the specified header value from the BBjspWebRequest object.

Syntax

Return Value	Method
String	getHeader(string name)

Parameters

Variable	Description
name	the name of the header

Return Value

a String containing the value of the header

Remarks

The example below shows getting the value of the User-Agent header from a request within a BBJSP Servlet.
