User Preference Files

The BASIS IDE and SysWindow create user preference files in the user's home directory. These files are read when the IDE or a SysWindow is started and contain information about the font, size, and color options. When the IDE or SysWindow is closed, the files are written to with any changed information. Path or filename examples for UNIX and Windows 2000 are given below.

For a UNIX system:

/home/username/BBjSysWindow.def (or BBjIDE.def)

For a Win 2000 system:

c:\Documents and Settings\username\BBjSysWindow.def
