Using the Clipboard
It is possible to perform Copy and Paste operations between the Visual
PRO/5 terminal window and the Clipboard. However, these operations work
 differently than other Windows applications.
To copy text from the terminal window to the Clipboard, begin by choosing
Copy from the Edit menu. The mouse
cursor changes to a cross-hair shape. Move the cursor to one corner of
the area to be copied, then press and hold the left mouse button, and
drag the cursor to the opposite corner. A dashed rectangle shows the current
selection area. When the correct area is highlighted, release the mouse
button. The selected text is then copied to the Clipboard. Trailing spaces
are discarded and linefeeds are added between lines.
To paste text from the Clipboard, choose Paste
from the Edit menu. The text is pasted at the current location of the
cursor and functions as if it had been typed at the keyboard. The Paste
menu item is dimmed when the Clipboard is empty.
