Administration Wizard
For ease and convenience, use the wizard to manage administrative tasks.
Starting the Wizard
To start the graphical wizard, choose System Administration > Admin from the Demos Launchdock.
To run as a character-based application on non-Windows
operating systems, type admin --console
from the command line in the <bbj_home>/bin
directory.
Wizard Tasks
| Selection | Use |

| UAC Configuration Wizard | To configure BASIS applications and directories for use with MS Windows User Account Control (UAC) security. |
| License Registration | To guide you through requesting and installing a BASIS license. A demo license may also be requested. |
| Install a License | To guide you through the installation of a license. |
| Select the BASIS License Server (BLS) Certificate | To select the BASIS License Service (BLS) certificate which allows for a secure connection to the BLS. |
| Configure the BASIS License Service (BLS) Startup | To configure how the BASIS License Service runs on this system. |
| Start/Stop the BASIS License Service(BLS) | To start or stop the Basis License Service. |
| Designate JDK | To designate the Java Development Kit (JDK) used by BASIS applications. |
