Previewing and Printing the Contents of Form and Child Windows

ResBuilder allows you to preview an image of the contents of forms and child windows, set up the printer , and print the image.

ResBuilder Print Preview

To display an image of the contents of forms and child windows, do the following:

1. Click anywhere within a form or child window to select it.

2. On the File menu, select Print Preview to open the standard Windows print preview dialog.

3. The buttons allow you to view successive pages of the image, display one or two pages, zoom in or zoom out, and print the image.

   • To print the image, click the Print button.

   • To return to ResBuilder, click the Close button.

Print Setup

To set up the printer from within ResBuilder, do the following:

1. On the File menu, select Print Preview to open the standard Windows print preview setup dialog.

2. Select the desired printer properties, paper size and source, and print orientation settings, then click OK.

Printing

To print the contents of a form or child window in ResBuilder, do the following

1. Click anywhere within a form or child window to select it.

2. Open the Print dialog in one of two ways:

   • On the File menu, select Print.

   • Press Ctrl+P.

3. A confirmation box appears. Do one of the following:

   • To print the selected item, click OK.

   • To return to ResBuilder, click Cancel.
