Grouping and Ungrouping Controls

Grouping controls together maintains their relative positions, allowing them to be moved as a unit.

Grouping Controls

To group controls together, do the following:

1. Select the controls to be included in the group in one of two ways:

   • Click and drag the box around the controls to select them.

   • Click a control, then press the Ctrl button and click the additional controls to select them.

2. On the Layout menu, select Group Controls.

A control can only be part of one group at a time. If it is selected to be part of second group, it will be removed from the first group when it is added to the second group.

Ungrouping Controls

To ungroup controls, do the following:

1. Select one of the controls, which causes all controls in the group to be selected.

2. On the Layout menu, select Ungroup Controls.
