Creating a Menu Bar

To create a menu bar, do the following:

1. Add a menu window to the edit area by doing one of the following:

   • On the Main toolbar, click the Add Menu button.

   • On the Edit menu, select Add Menu.

   • On the tree view, click the Menu icon, right-click to display the context-sensitive menu, then click Add.

2. A menu window containing a blank menu bar then appears, and a corresponding menu icon appears in the tree view.

3. To define the menu bar, display its properties page, then enter the following information:

   • Enter a text string into the Menu Text box to define the text that will appear on the menu bar.

   • Enter a text string into the Name box to define the menu bar name that will appear in the tree view.
