ResBuilder: Creating a Menu Bar (Superseded)
ResBuilder has been superseded by the FormBuilder module in the BASIS IDE for BBj. ResBuilder is no longer included in the BBj download package as of version 12.0 but can be downloaded with Visual PRO/5.
To create a menu bar, do the following:

Add a menu window to the edit area by doing one of the following:

On the Main toolbar, click the Add Menu button.

On the Edit menu, select Add Menu.

On the tree view, click the Menu icon, right-click to display the context-sensitive menu, then click Add.

A menu window containing a blank menu bar then appears, and a corresponding menu icon appears in the tree view.

To define the menu bar, display its properties page, then enter the following information:

Enter a text string into the Menu Text box to define the text that will appear on the menu bar.

Enter a text string into the Name box to define the menu bar name that will appear in the tree view.
