Menu Bar - Edit

 

This menu bar provides access to the following edit features:

 

(Menu Bar - Edit) - Add Item:

Places the grid in the add item mode, awaiting entry of an item number. When an item is added, the row color is set at black text with a green background.

 

(Menu Bar - Edit) - Delete Item:

Marks a line item for deletion by changing the row color to black text with a light gray background.

 

(Menu Bar - Edit) - Edit Mode:

In this application, columns 3 (Item ID) and 5 (Quantity) are the only columns that can be changed (edited). When the edit mode is Non-Sequential, after a cell is selected for edit and the edit is complete, the highlighted cell remains on the cell that was edited. In the Sequential Edit mode, after the edit is complete, the cell being edited automatically moves to the next cell in the grid from column 3 to column 5 and then to column 3 in the next higher row in the grid and so on.

 

(Menu Bar - Edit) - Restore Item:

This feature changes the status of the selected line item (row) to its' original values. If the line item was added, it is removed from the grid, deleted (marked) line items are changed to the normal row color of black text and a white background. Changed line items are restored to original values and row colors.
