Keyboard Keys

 

A cell within the grid control must have focus for keyboard keys to activate pre-programmed features. Cell focus is indicated by a blue color highlighting with a dotted edge surrounding the cell.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Arrow Down:

Moves the grid highlighted cell one row down.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Arrow Up:

Moves the highlighted cell on the grid one row up.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Ctrl End:

Moves the grid display to the last key* in the attached file.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Ctrl Home:

Moves the grid to display the first key* in the attached file .

 

* The first and last key is determined by the Attached File mode. For additional information see Prototype Topic: Attached File  

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Delete:

Marks a line item for deletion by changing the row color to black text with a light gray background.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - End:

Moves the highlighted cell on the grid to the rightmost column.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Escape:

If the highlighted cell in the grid is on a row containing a modified line item, added line item, or line item marked for deletion, pressing the Escape key changes the status of the selected line item (row) to its' original values. If the line item was added, it is removed from the grid, deleted (marked) line items are changed to the normal row color of black text and a white background.

 

Changed line items are restored to original values and row colors.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Home:

Moves the highlighted cell on the grid to the leftmost column.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Insert:

Places the grid in the add item mode, awaiting entry of an item number. When an item is added, the row color is set at black text with a green background.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Page Down:

Moves the grid display down, a maximum of one page.

 

(Keyboard - Keys) - Page Up: Moves the grid display up, a maximum of one page.
