Function Keys - Attached File Mode
A cell within the grid control must have focus for function keys to activate pre-programmed features. Cell focus is indicated by a blue color highlighting with a dotted edge surrounding the cell.
Function keys F1 through F4, F8, and F12 are programmed to provide specific actions when a cell in the grid has focus:
(Function Keys)–[F1-F4],[F12]: Find:
Keys [F1 – F4] are used to find changes that have been made to line item order information. A change includes an addition or deletion of a line item, or change of Item ID or quantity. This feature searches through the file by order line number in ascending order. F1 locates the first change, F2 finds the next change not appearing on the current page, F3 finds the next change even if it appears on the current page, and F4 finds the last change. F12 is used to display the Find Window (see Find Window in the topics listbox for additional information on this feature).
(Function Keys)–[F8]: Look-Up List:
When the grid focus (highlighted cell) is on a cell in the Item ID or Description column, pressing F8 will display a listedit control that can be used to select an Item ID from a list of selections. F8 can also be used when editing a cell in the Item ID column.
