Enterprise Manager - BUI: Resources

Description

The BUI Configuration Resources tab allows the administrator to configure resources.

To access Settings, go to Web | BUI Configuration and double-click Resources in the BBj EM Navigator and the settings tab opens to the right.

BUI resources provides the ability to add specific resources for the BUI application. For instance if a CSS file is needed for the application it should be added to the BUI resources tab. When adding an application to the BUI configuration settings there are two locations where the resources can be applied; CSS or Shortcut Icon. The newly added resources will appear when selecting the desired dropdown list.

Add a Resource

Click the [+] and a <new> entry appears in the BUI Resources Editor.

Click in the Resource area to the right of <new> and again in the [...] to open the file dialog.

Navigate to the desired resource, select the file (CSS or image to be the Shortcut Icon), and click [Open] to select.

Close the BUI Configuration - Resources Editor tab to save the new resource.

NOTE: If you reopen the tab, you will see that the EM has automatically assigned the ID number for the resource

Open BUI Configuration - Applications from the EM Navigator and select the application.

Click the dropdown box for either the CSS (shown below) or Shortcut Icon and select the newly added resource.

Close the tab to save the application edits.

Remove a Resource

Highlight the resource.

Click the red [X].
