Inserting Columns into a Data Dictionary
To insert a column into the data dictionary, do the following:

In the tree view, click the column that occupies the position above the location for the new column.

Insert the new column by doing one of the following:

On the Edit menu, select Insert.

Right-click to display the context-sensitive menu, and select Insert.

On the toolbar, click the Insert button:

The column then appears, displaying a default name such as COLUMN2. To enter a new name, click the element, enter a name that complies with the DDBuilder naming conventions, then either press Enter or click the mouse outside of the tree view.
