BBjHttpRequest::getMethod (Deprecated)

BBjHttpRequest::getMethod is deprecated for BBj 21.00 and higher, and has been replaced by BBxServletRequest::getMethod.

Description

In BBj 12.00 and higher, this method returns the name of the HTTP method with which this request was made.

Syntax

Return Value	Method
string	getMethod()

Parameters

None.

Return Value

Returns a string containing the method type.

Remarks

Return string will be an HTTP method type such asGET, POST, or PUT.
