BBjHttpRequest::getRemoteAddr (Deprecated)

BBjHttpRequest::getRemoteAddr is deprecated for BBj 21.00 and higher, and has been replaced by BBxServletRequest::getRemoteAddr.

Description

In BBj 12.00 and higher, this method returns the Internet protocol (IP) address of the client or last proxy that sent the BBjHttpRequest.

Parameters

None.

Return Value

a String containing the clients IP address

Remarks

The example below shows getting the local IP address of a request within a BBjServlet.
