BBjHttpRequest::getProtocol (Deprecated)

BBjHttpRequest::getProtocol is deprecated for BBj 21.00 and higher, and has been replaced by BBxServletRequest::getProtocol.

Description

In BBj 12.00 and higher, this method returns the name and version of the protocol the request uses in the form protocol/majorVersion.minorVersion, for example, HTTP/1.1.

a string containing the protocol part of the URL

Remarks

The example below shows getting the protocol of a request in a BBjServlet.
