AddonSoftware Administration - Copy Application

 

Function

Use this task to copy a vertical application from one Barista-AddonSoftware installation to a new Barista-AddonSoftware installation. In the new installation, use the Barista Install Application Wizard to re-install the copied vertical application.

 

=> To access this task...

Select Copy Application from the Install/Upgrade Utilities folder under the Utilities menu.

About the Fields

 

In the Source syn File field...

  • Enter the complete path to the source vertical application's '*.syn' file located in the application's 'config' directory.

  • Click Click to navigate to existing file locations.

In the New config Location field...

  • Enter the complete path to the new (target) vertical application's 'config' directory.

  • Click Click to navigate to existing file locations.

In the detail grid - Target...

  • If the Target column is not initialized after entering the New config location, click on the grid so that it gets focus (or Tab out of the New config Location fields). Carefully check and verify that all the STBL and PREFIX target's are correct. As necessary, edit any target STBL or PREFIX that needs correcting

When done making selections...

  • Click Run Process button to copy the application.

  • Click Clear Form button to clear the form and begin again.
