Inventory Control - Lot/Serial Number History By Customer

Function

Use this task to display the shipment transaction history of all or selected customers for lotted or serialized items. You can select shipments by customer, product type, item number, transaction date, status (open versus sold), transaction type, and warehouse.

To access this task...

Select Lot/Serial Number History By Customer from the Lotted/Serialized Inventory menu.

About the Fields

The information requested for the report is generated by the Order/Invoice Processing module Sales Register Update.If the Order/Invoice Processing module is not installed, no transactions are available for this task.

In the Beginning/Ending Customer ID fields...

  • Enter the number of the first/last customer to include on the report.

  • Press Tab to select the first/last customer record.

  • Click find field records button to select from a list of customer numbers.

In the Beginning/Ending Date fields...

  • Enter the first/last date to include on the report.

  • Press Tab to select the first/last date record.

  • Click display calendar button to select a date by using the calendar tool.

In the Beginning/Ending Warehouse ID fields...

  • Enter the warehouse code of the first/last warehouse to include on the report.

  • Press Tab to select the first/last warehouse code record.

  • Click find field records button to select from a list of warehouse codes.

In the Beginning/Ending Product Type fields...

  • Enter the type of the first/last product to include on the report.

  • Press Tab to select the first/last product type record.

  • Click find field records button to select from a list of product types.

In the Beginning/Ending Item ID fields...

  • Enter the number of the first/last item to include on the report.

  • Press Tab to select the first/last item number record.

  • Click find field records button to select from a list of item numbers.

In the Item Type field...

  • Enter the item type to include on the report.

  • Press Tab to select all item types.

  • Click find field records button to select from a list of item types.

From the Open/Closed/Both dropdown...

  • Select Open (O) to display only open transactions.

  • Select Close (C) to display only closed transactions.

  • Select Both (B) to display both open and closed transactions.

Exclude Inactive Items? checkbox...

  • Mark the box (default) to exclude inactive items.

  • Unmark the box to include all items.

When done making selections...

  • Click run process button to create the Inventory Transaction History Listing.

  • Click save button to save the settings.

  • Click new/clear form button to clear the form and re-enter options.
